Clinical Supervision

According to the Department of Regulatory Agencies, Board of Licensed Professional Counselor Examiners, Licensed Professional Counselor Examiners Rules and Regulations 4 CCR 737-1 "Supervision provides a source of knowledge, expertise, and more advanced skills to the person being supervised. The nature of this relationship depends on the respective skills of the two professionals involved, the client population and/or the specific client being served. It is usually ongoing, required, and hierarchical in nature."  "Clinical supervision occurs when there is close, ongoing review and direction of a supervisee's clinical practice."  Kim's personal and professional view about clinical supervision mirrors the above.  Further, as a mental health provider and a clinical supervisor, Kim's  view is that she has an obligation to ensure the safety of (and promote mental health to) the population that is served at SOBT Therapy, LLC (including supervisees) while maintaining a relationship with supervisees that stays at/close to the crosshairs where clinical supervision and mentorship cross.  Kim was trained and approved to be a clinical supervisor in Colorado in August of 2021.

At this time, Kim's providing clinical individual supervision to providers contracted with SOBT Therapy, LLC only.  She is providing, however, group supervision to anyone seeking supervision in a group setting.  Group supervision takes place at least once per month (based on demand) on Fridays at 12PM.  Must schedule at least fourteen (14) days in advance.

The cost of group clinical supervision is $35 per person per session.  Kim offers a discounted rate of $25 per session.  You must register and pay for a minimum of four (4) sessions to receive the discounted rate.  You may pay for sessions in advance to reserve your seat in upcoming group clinical supervision sessions.  If you want to cancel your scheduled and confirmed group clinical supervision, you are asked that you do it no later than 24hrs in advance.  If you do not cancel prior to 24hrs in advance or if you do not attend your scheduled and confirmed group supervision session, you are responsible for the entire cost of the session.  SOBT Therapy, LLC takes and processes payments the day that supervision is conducted.  Accepted forms of payments are credit/debit cards, checks, and money orders.  Checks and money orders must be received (at SOBT Therapy, LLC's main office in Centennial) within a week following the attended group clinical supervision session.
